The Introduction

October 9, 2009

Every drive has a story, and as self proclaimed petrol heads we live for these stories. These moments of motoring bliss are what keep us coming back for more, and its why we love cars. Chase the Horizon is about telling these stories, and My team and I have a passion for doing so. All we can hope for is that you will enjoy reading them. So here they are in no particular order, the new Chase the Horizon team. Oh and please excuse the pictures, they are part of my horrible attempt at showing that we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

I run on a strict diet of fish tacos and mojitos. Other than that, all I need is a car with power, pantomime, and the ability to pull of massive powerslides, and you have one very happy petrol head.

Terence Okuda

We call him the bearded samurai, for obvious reasons…A purveyor of classic motoring. He swears by carburetors, unassisted steering, and throttles controlled by cable, not wires. As far as cars go, he refuses to drive anything without Mazda or Ford plastered on the tailgate.

Jeff Kayo

His definition of  classic motoring involves any car built before 1998, which he then proceeds to label as “old.” Were not quite sure if he is a tried and true Honda man, or if he is slowly being seduced my Mazda magic. What we are sure of is that he has not yet discovered torque, but he has apparently discovered Burberry.
